Business continuity & recovery policy
How Prastavone protects your data against loss and recovers from incidents.
Last updated 04 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-03
1. Where the Service runs
- The app and your company data are hosted with a leading cloud provider in India, which keeps data replicated across several data centres so that the failure of one does not lose data.
- The database is protected against accidental deletion.
- Company content is encrypted in your browser before it is stored, so copies and backups hold only encrypted data.
2. Backups and recovery
- We maintain backup and recovery procedures and check that backups restore correctly. Backups are encrypted and deleted within 90 days.
- Every release of the app is recorded and versioned, so a problem release can be undone quickly.
3. Your own copies
Because no backup arrangement removes all risk, we recommend that Admins download a password-protected backup of each company regularly (Settings → Data & backup) — for example monthly and before big changes. Free trial work exists only in your browser and is not backed up by us.
4. If something goes wrong
- We investigate and contain the problem first, then restore service — from the replicated database, a previous app version or, if needed, the latest backup.
- We keep the Admins informed in the app and by e-mail during a major incident.
- Personal-data breaches are handled and reported as the law requires.
5. Dependencies
The Service depends on cloud hosting, sign-in, payment and e-mail providers (see Third-party services). If one of them has an outage, the related features may be unavailable until it is resolved.
