Data export & portability policy
How to get your data out of Prastavone, in which formats, and when.

1. What you can export

2. When you can export
- Paid plans: at any time.
- After a plan ends (read-only) or for a company without a plan: at any time — exporting is always allowed.
- Free trial: during the 30 days. After the trial ends, exporting needs a paid plan; your trial work can be moved into your company when you choose one.
3. Before closing an account — checklist
- Download a password-protected backup of each company (Settings → Data & backup) and keep the password safe.
- Export customers, follow-ups and products as CSV files.
- Download PDFs of important proposals and acceptance certificates.
- Then ask for closure and deletion — see the Data retention & deletion policy.
4. Encryption and why exports are done by you
Your company content is encrypted in your browser with your company’s own key before it is stored. Our team cannot read it or produce a readable export on your behalf. Exports are therefore made by a member of your company in the app. Keep backups and their passwords safe: a lost backup password cannot be recovered.
5. Moving your data elsewhere
CSV files open in Excel and import into most CRM and accounting software. Proposal files and backups can be opened again in Prastavone. If you need help moving to another system, contact support.
