Data retention & deletion policy
Where Prastavone keeps your data, for how long, and how it is deleted.

1. How your data is handled — in brief
- Free trial work is stored only in your browser. Trial proposals, customers, products, content blocks and settings are saved in your browser’s storage on that computer, separately for each Google account. Nothing of it is sent to our servers; we only record when your trial started and that you accepted our terms.
- When the trial ends, it becomes read-only. After 30 days you can still open what you made in that browser, but you cannot create, edit, save or export anything until you choose a paid plan.
- Paid plans store your data in the cloud. On Starter, Business and Enterprise, your proposals, customers, products, content library and settings are stored online with a leading cloud provider in India — encrypted with AES-256 in your browser before they are saved.
- Every company workspace is isolated. Each company has its own workspace, its own members and its own encryption key. Access checks on our servers verify every request against that company’s membership, so people in one company can never see another company’s data — even within the same billing account.
- Storage is shared across the billing account. The plan’s storage (100 MB on Starter, 500 MB on Business) is one pool used by all the account’s companies; each company’s data stays separate. Plan & usage shows the total and each company’s share.
- After a subscription ends or is cancelled, nothing is deleted. The companies become read-only: everyone can still sign in, read and export, but nothing new can be saved. Choose a plan again at any time to continue. If an account stays read-only with no plan for 24 months, we may delete its data — only after warning the Admins at least 90 days before.
- You can export everything before closing the account. Proposals as PDF, Word or proposal files, a full password-protected backup of each company, and customers, follow-ups and products as CSV files — at any time while the company is active, read-only or without a plan. 2. Retention periods

3. After expiry or cancellation
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan works until the end of the period already paid for.
- When a plan or add-on is not renewed, there is a 7-day grace period with full access; then the companies (or the additional company) become read-only.
- Read-only means: members can sign in, open, search and export everything; nothing new can be created or changed. No data is deleted.
- Choosing a plan again restores full access straight away, with all data as it was.
- If the account stays read-only with no plan for 24 months, we may delete its content. We e-mail the Admins and show a notice in the app at least 90 days before, so that you can export or reactivate.
4. Deleting your data on request
- An Admin can ask us to close the account and delete a company’s data — write to jay.joshi@bildara.in or our contact form.
- We confirm the request with the Admin, then delete the content from the live database within 30 days. Copies in encrypted hosting backups expire within a further 90 days.
- Billing, tax, consent and security records are kept for as long as the law requires.

5. Individual users
When an Admin removes a person from a company, they lose access at once. Their name stays on the proposals and records they created, as part of the company’s history. Personal-data requests from individuals are handled as described in the Privacy policy.
6. Trial work
Trial work never reaches our servers, so we cannot delete or recover it. You delete it by clearing the site data for this website in your browser. Moving it into a paid company copies it online; the copy in the browser stays until you clear it.
